soux collects as little as a website can. There are no accounts for visitors, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. This page says exactly what does happen.
What is recorded when you visit
Like every web server, ours writes access logs: the address you connected from, the pages and images you requested, the time, and what your browser says it is. These logs are used only to keep the site running and to notice abuse, and are kept for a short time before being discarded. They are not shared, sold, or combined with anything else.
The site is served through Cloudflare, which sits between you and our server to cache images and absorb attacks. Cloudflare sees the same connection details and handles them under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
None. Visiting the site sets no cookies. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your own browser's local storage and never sent to us.
Fonts
The site's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads. Google receives your address as part of that request and handles it under its privacy policy. We receive nothing from it.
The software interface
The library can be queried by software tools at /mcp. For those requests we keep a record of what was asked — which tool, the search terms and filters, the shot ids — and the name of the client software, so we can see how the library is used and what people look for and don't find. That record does not say who asked: the caller's address is reduced to a hash that changes every day, and the records are deleted after 90 days.
The screenshots themselves
The images in the library are of software interfaces, gathered from publicly published pages. They are chosen and reviewed to show products, not people. If you find one that shows personal information — a real name, an address, an account — tell us at [email protected] and it will be removed.
If you write to us
If you email [email protected], we hold your message and address for as long as it takes to deal with it and reply. That is the only personal information the site ever ends up with. Ask, and it is deleted. Nothing we hold is sold, rented, or shared with anyone.
Links to other sites
Every screenshot links to the vendor's page it was found on, and the legal pages link to a few others. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we neither control nor answer for.
Children
The site is a professional reference and is not directed at children. Since it collects nothing about anyone, it collects nothing about them either; if you believe a child has nonetheless sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
Security
The site runs on a single server behind Cloudflare, over HTTPS only, with access to administration limited to one account. That is proportionate to what it holds, which is very little of yours; no system is beyond compromise, and we don't claim this one is.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
